Delivery and activation

What is delivered

The subject of the contract is a subscription to the KHAT platform: access to everything included in the chosen plan, on a platform carrying the teacher's name, from any browser.

There is no physical product, no shipping, and no delivery charge — within Egypt or outside it.

Time of activation

• Immediately: as soon as the payment gateway confirms the transaction the plan is activated on the account, normally in under a minute.
• Within 24 hours at most: where the transaction is referred to manual review by the gateway or the bank.
• A receipt and confirmation by email are sent to the address registered on the account.

How the service is accessed

• At app.khat.education, with the registered email address and password.
• From any modern browser on a phone or computer, with no application to install.
• Students reach their teacher's platform from the same browser, through the link the teacher sends them.

The requirements are an internet connection and an up-to-date browser.

Trial before payment

A full 7-day trial with no bank card is available, and the platform opens immediately on sign-up, allowing the whole service to be examined before any payment.

Charged without activation

This occurs rarely, where the bank's confirmation of the transaction is delayed. The procedure is:

• Wait 30 minutes and refresh the page; most cases resolve themselves.
• If it persists, contact us within 48 hours at help@khat.education or on WhatsApp +20 104 476 6688, quoting the date, amount and reference of the transaction.
• The subscription is then activated or the amount refunded in full, at the account holder's choice — see the refund policy.

Where the service is available

The service is available to anyone with an internet connection. Billing and prices are in Egyptian pounds, and the product is built for the Egyptian market: Egyptian curriculum subjects and school years, with an Arabic interface.

Interruptions

KHAT works to keep the platform available around the clock. Planned maintenance is announced in advance and scheduled outside peak hours. Where an unplanned outage lasts a material period, that time is credited to the subscription.
